About the Role:
CardioClinic in Richmond, TX is looking for a skilled and passionate PET/CT Technologist to join our dedicated imaging team. Responsibilities:
- Perform PET/CT imaging procedures with accuracy and adherence to established protocols
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with radiation safety standards
- Operate and maintain PET/CT scanner equipment to ensure optimal image quality
- Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring comfort and safety at all times
- Collaborate with nuclear medicine physicians and cardiologists to review and process imaging results
- Maintain detailed patient records, documentation, and imaging logs
- Adhere to ALARA principles and all radiation protection protocols
Requirements:
- ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT) or equivalent required
- Experience operating PET/CT imaging equipment in a clinical setting
- Knowledge of radiopharmaceutical handling, dosing, and radiation safety regulations
- Current Texas state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Excellent patient communication and bedside manner skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
